Will build 20 new "Union Bookcases" for workers in 2025

Kinhtedothi - In 2025, the Hanoi City Labor Federation strives to build 20 new "Union Bookcases" at Self-Management Groups of workers' dormitories, Cultural Activity Centers, and in enterprises, and at the same time, equip and supplement 30 sets of books for the existing "Union Bookcases".

According to the Plan of the Hanoi Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) on establishing the online bookshelf " Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space"; Building new and supplementing books for the Trade Union Bookshelf at workers' dormitories, workers' cultural activity points and in enterprises, in 2025, the Hanoi Labor Federation will establish the online bookshelf " Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space" including a list of documents and books with QR codes on materials and images about the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh ; digitizing literary and artistic works about Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

At the same time, the City Labor Federation also provides online bookcases "Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space" for Ho Chi Minh Cultural Spaces, Workers' Cultural Activity Points, Trade Union Activity Points and Trade Union Bookcases.

Along with that, the Trade Union at the grassroots level directly surveys, registers, implements new construction, repairs, decorates, and adds books to the "Trade Union Bookcase" at workers' dormitories, workers' cultural activity points, and in enterprises in the area in 2025.

In recent times, the Union Bookcases in the working areas and dormitories have contributed to improving the reading culture among workers.

Hanoi City Labor Federation has deployed to the direct superior Trade Unions at the grassroots level to build new "Trade Union Bookcases", adding more books to the existing Bookcases: build 20 new "Trade Union Bookcases" at Self-management Groups of workers' dormitories, Cultural Activity Centers, in enterprises; equip and add 30 sets of books to the existing "Trade Union Bookcases".

Books in the "Trade Union Bookcases" include: books on propaganda and dissemination of laws on labor, employment, and trade union organizations such as: Labor Code, Social Insurance Law, Trade Union Law, Labor Safety and Hygiene Law, documents on propaganda of related policies and regimes...; newspapers and publications issued by trade unions...

The implementation cost is from the financial resources of Trade Unions at all levels and other legal sources of funding (if any). In particular, the Hanoi City Labor Federation will spend and provide funding to establish an online bookshelf; establish 20 Trade Union Bookshelfs (purchase bookshelves and books), each bookshelf worth 10 million VND; equip books for 30 existing "Trade Union Bookshelfs", with each set of books worth 3 million VND.
