On the main route at Km 33+370 through My Hiep commune, Phu My district, there is a household named Nguyen Phi Vien who is stuck with a fence and house. This case has received compensation and is completing procedures to build a house in the resettlement area.
In addition, at the branch line intersecting with National Highway 19 through Nhon Hoa Ward, An Nhon Town, there is also the household of Ms. Pham Thi Yen. Currently, compensation has been received and 1/4 of the house is being dismantled.
People in An Nhon Town, Binh Dinh Province dismantled their houses and structures and moved to resettlement areas to make way for highway construction.
"By June 30, the locality will completely resolve these remaining cases to hand over the entire site to the construction unit," Mr. Hoa affirmed.
The North-South Expressway Project in the 2021-2025 period through Binh Dinh province is more than 117km long, including 3 component projects: Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon, Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon and Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh. Nearly 11,800 households are affected by the project.
To carry out land acquisition and clearance, Binh Dinh province has invested in building 40 resettlement areas, with an area of over 71,000 hectares/1,723 plots of land, with a total investment of 746.4 billion VND.
