On February 21, at the tomb and monument of the great physician Le Huu Trac in Son Trung commune, there was a banh chung wrapping contest, a tug of war (women) and a stick pushing contest (men) within the framework of the Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac Festival. |
The competition had the participation of more than 120 athletes from 11/11 villages of Son Trung commune and thousands of people in Huong Son district came to attend and cheer.
There are 11 teams from Son Trung commune participating in the banh chung wrapping competition. In the banh chung wrapping competition, each team consists of 3 people to wrap banh chung from prepared ingredients. Within 20 minutes, the teams must complete wrapping 5 green banh chung.
Next, 11 female teams from 11 villages participated in the tug of war competition.
The matches were exciting and attractive.
Also this morning, 11 athletes from 11 villages participated in the pole pushing event.
The organizing committee awarded prizes for the banh chung wrapping contest.
At the end of the competition, in the banh chung wrapping competition: Mai Ha village team won first prize, Hai Thuong village team won second prize; in the men's pole pushing competition: first prize went to athlete Trung (Ha Trang village), second prize went to athlete Nghia (Ha Trang village); in the women's tug of war competition: Yen Son village team won first prize, Lam Thanh village team won second prize. |
