After arriving in Ninh Binh on the afternoon of September 15 to participate in activities within the framework of the Miss Cosmo 2024 Contest, contestants of the Contest visited and gave gifts to people in flood-affected areas in Kenh Ga village, Gia Thinh commune (Gia Vien).
Here, the delegation visited and shared with households flooded after the storm, giving 50 gifts to families in difficult circumstances and severely flooded.
Contestants of the Miss Cosmo 2024 contest from more than 60 countries were moved when they came to the place and witnessed the difficulties and hardships that the storms and floods left for the people here. They sympathized with the people and expressed their desire to continue to contribute to local people to overcome the consequences of the floods.
According to information from the Miss Cosmo 2024 Organizing Committee, in the face of the severe flooding affecting many provinces and cities in the North, the Organizing Committee has decided to change the schedule of some activities of the Miss Cosmo 2024 contest to join hands to overcome the consequences caused by storm No. 3 in the Northern provinces. The total amount of money that the Miss Cosmo organization donated to flood relief in some localities is 600 million VND. Along with cash, the Miss Cosmo organization and sponsors and benefactors also prepared gifts of necessities to send to people in flooded areas.
Miss Cosmo 2024 is an international beauty pageant held for the first time in Vietnam.
In Ninh Binh, from September 16-20, Miss Cosmo 2024 contestants will participate in 2 activities: Fashion Show "Hello Cosmo From Vietnam" at Khe Coc Island, Trang An Eco- tourism Area and the "National Costume" performance at Thung Nham Eco -tourism Area; visit, take photos, promote at famous tourist areas and spots of Ninh Binh...
