On the afternoon of December 31, the Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang City sent information to the press requesting to propagate and disseminate information to the people about the Da Nang City People's Committee not organizing fireworks displays on the occasion of New Year 2025.
Through monitoring the Internet, the Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang City has discovered some information on the internet and social networking sites about Da Nang City organizing fireworks displays on the occasion of New Year 2025.
However, according to official information from the Office of the Da Nang People's Committee, the city will not organize fireworks displays on this occasion. Information circulating on social networks about the city's fireworks display locations is inaccurate and may cause misunderstandings for residents and tourists.
Therefore, the Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang City recommends that people and tourists should pay attention and regularly grasp information about the city's policies in general and about organizing fireworks displays in particular through official information channels and newspapers.
According to the plan, Da Nang City will only set off fireworks on New Year's Eve (from 0:00 on January 29, 2025) at 3 locations: Bach Dang Street Square (intersection of Bach Dang - Binh Minh 6 Street); the area in front of Lien Chieu District Administrative Center (opposite the east, District Administrative Center); resettlement area of the western beltway (Duong Lam 1 village, Hoa Phong commune, Hoa Vang).
