According to the assessment, Vietnam and India still have a lot of potential in trade and investment cooperation with many strengths such as the world's most populous market and dynamic economic development. Recently, large Indian corporations have shown interest in the Vietnamese market in strategic areas such as renewable energy, processing industry, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, and logistics. Cooperation in the fields of culture, tourism, and people-to-people exchange between the two countries has also continued to be strengthened and expanded. In addition, cooperation in the fields of science - technology, information - communication, education - training, culture - tourism, and people-to-people exchange have all developed positively. India is an important member, with a voice in multilateral forums and in the international arena. Regarding the East Sea issue, India has a positive stance when emphasizing the direction of resolving disputes by peaceful means, in accordance with international law, UNCLOS, and supporting COC negotiations.
