During the investigation, Trong confessed that the car was rented by him in Nui Thanh, and the documents were forged through social networks.
Not long ago, Quang Nam Provincial Police prosecuted and temporarily detained Ho Trieu Tien (born in 1993, residing in Tam Thai commune, Phu Ninh district, Quang Nam) to continue investigating the act of "Forging documents of agencies and organizations, using fake documents of agencies and organizations".
According to the case file, in April and May 2023, Ho Trieu Tien rented a SH motorbike from a rental facility in Thanh Khe district, Da Nang city and a Wave motorbike from a woman in Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province.
Tien then used her social media account to find someone to forge the documents of the above vehicles. Upon receiving the fake documents, Tien brought the 2 vehicles and the fake documents to a pawn shop in Phu Thinh town, Phu Ninh district to pawn and receive 29 million VND.
Not stopping there, Ho Trieu Tien continued to another pawn shop in Phu Thinh district. Here, the subject reached an agreement to pawn the SH (the pawn shop in Phu Thinh town was holding) for 35 million VND. Believing him, the owner of this pawn shop gave Tien money to redeem the motorbike.
It is known that Ho Trieu Tien has 3 previous convictions for fraud and abuse of trust to appropriate property.
