On the world rankings, Thuy Linh is ranked 22nd, while her opponent is ranked 87th. The Vietnamese player is 27 years old this year, while Wong Ling Ching is quite young, only 21 years old.

But entering the match, Thuy Linh encountered many difficulties. She encountered difficulties right from the first set, when Wong Ling Ching played confidently and quickly led 4-1. Thuy Linh even though she recovered to 4-4, she then made many mistakes.

The gap grew wider and wider, so even though the Vietnamese player tied the score at 17-17, it was not enough to cause a surprise. Wong Ling Ching won 21-17 in set 1.

In set 2, fans witnessed a breathless chase. Every time Thuy Linh rose, the opponent equalized.

At 10-10, the Vietnamese badminton hot girl made another mistake. Wong Ling Ching broke away to lead 14-10, 15-11 and seemed to be on the verge of winning with solid hits.

But Thuy Linh woke up in time to tie the game at 18-18. Wong Ling Ching was still close to victory when leading 20-18. At this point, Thuy Linh played brilliantly at the crucial moment, saving both match-points and winning 22-20 in set 2.

Unable to take advantage of the opportunity, Wong Ling Ching almost collapsed in set 3 when her physical strength declined. At this point, experience helped Thuy Linh control the match and then win 21-15, thereby completing a difficult comeback after 1 hour and 6 minutes.

In the semi-finals, the Vietnamese tennis player's opponent is Amalie Schulz (Denmark, ranked 69th in the world).
