(NLDO) - In the stock market session on December 30, green was only concentrated in a few individual stocks, this trend may not stop yet.
At the end of the session on December 30, the VN-Index decreased by 3 points (-0.25%), closing at 1,272 points.
Vietnamese stocks were red and retreated when entering the trading session on December 30. Investors bought and sold stocks cautiously at red prices with low liquidity. Specifically, many large-cap stocks in the banking group such as VCB, BID, and TCB decreased in points, affecting the general market.
However, near the end of the session, some blue-chip stocks in the banking group increased points, most impressively HDB shares increased by 6.9%, LPB increased by 1.77%, STB increased by 1.2%, helping VN Index narrow the decrease range and not return to the reference price.
Foreign investors reversed their net buying at the end of the afternoon session with a total value of 353.3 billion VND, focusing on buying stocks STB, CTG, PDR...
At the end of the session, the VN-Index decreased by 3 points (-0.25%), closing at 1,272 points. Liquidity decreased when only 452.9 million shares were matched on the HOSE floor.
According to Dragon Capital Securities Company (VDSC), due to cautious trading by investors, red stocks still dominate. The market has no supporting stocks, green is only concentrated in a few individual stocks.
"Investors will explore the supply and demand of stocks in the next trading session. However, the current support signal can still create momentum for the market to increase points. Stock "players" can still exploit short-term opportunities in stocks with positive developments, consider the recovery to close short-term profits on stocks that have increased rapidly to the resistance zone" - VDSC forecasts and recommends.
Meanwhile, VCBS Securities Company’s view is that the market is clearly diverging as cash flows into individual stocks. Investors should look for stocks with stable demand. Some groups worth selecting are retail, fertilizer, etc.
