On December 13, Binh Chanh District Police (HCMC) said that the unit is investigating the case of a newborn baby abandoned on the side of the road and discovered by local residents.

Earlier, on the morning of December 12, a resident walking on Group 9 Road (Hamlet 2, Qui Duc Commune, Binh Chanh District) discovered a newborn baby wrapped in a towel on the side of the road.

Upon inspection, locals determined that this was a baby boy whose umbilical cord had just been cut. The baby’s body had red marks as if he had been bitten by insects.

People reported to the authorities to take them to the medical station for examination and care.
