Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Building sparkles under 3D mapping projection technology

(Dan Tri) - Hundreds of people braved the rain to watch the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee building "transform" colorfully with a light show combined with lively music .
On the evening of December 4, people crowded Nguyen Hue walking street (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) to watch the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee building change color and move thanks to 3D mapping technology. Using 3D mapping technology, the art program "Hello Vietnam" combined with light and music performances has brought to the people and visitors a new look of the more than 100-year-old National Monument in Ho Chi Minh City. The program uses 3D mapping projection technology - a technique that uses light and images to create 3D effects on an uneven surface, while helping image blocks in three-dimensional space interact with architectural objects, bringing about eye-catching visual effects. Using modern lighting technology, the image of the Dong Son bronze drum motifs is recreated right on the front of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee building. The 3D mapping projection show is elaborately and magnificently staged, depicting the traditional cultural features of the country and people of Vietnam. The image of the traditional Ao Tu Than costume of Northern women appears gracefully and colorfully on the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee building. The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Building shines brightly at night under the 3D mapping display. The 3D mapping technology was previously shown at the City Theater with the theme Ho Chi Minh City - Historical Milestones. The bell tower and the statue of the goddess Marianne of Charity are 3D mapped into colorful flowers. ''Although it was raining heavily, my daughter and I still came here to watch the 3D technology show. It was worth the effort for us to brave the rain to come here,'' said Ms. Thanh Huyen (35 years old, Binh Thanh district). Before the performance, it rained heavily in Ho Chi Minh City, however, many people still gathered early in front of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee building to wait to see the unique art performance with their own eyes. Hundreds of people were delighted and recorded the moment the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee building changed color, along with the appearance of Chung cake and Tet cake. The performance was part of the opening ceremony of the Teqball World Championship. The tournament took place from December 3 to 8 on Nguyen Hue walking street, attracting more than 220 athletes from 95 countries and territories around the world to compete.
