In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam University of Fine Arts (1925–2025), alumni of the Faculty of Fine Arts Education organize the exhibition “Flow.” The event lasts from August 4 to 10, 2025 at Art Space 42 Yet Kieu, Hanoi .
The exhibition is an important highlight in a series of activities to celebrate the school's anniversary, one of the places with the longest tradition in fine arts training in Vietnam.
The exhibition “Flow” brings together 56 artists with 70 artworks of diverse styles, materials and creative perspectives. Through this, the artists want to express their gratitude to their old school and teachers – those who have inspired them artistically, helping them continue on their journey of creation and research.
Many of the artists participating in the exhibition are prestigious artists who have won awards at national and regional art exhibitions and have had their works displayed domestically and internationally.
Not only are they painters and sculptors, they are also lecturers, researchers, teachers and cultural officials, actively contributing to modern Vietnamese fine arts.

Mr. Chu Anh Phuong, Head of the Faculty of Fine Arts Education shared: “I am proud and grateful to have studied and grown up at a school with a rich tradition, the Indochina College of Fine Arts, now the Vietnam University of Fine Arts - the cradle that has produced many talented painters, sculptors, and art critics, representing the country's Fine Arts.
Inherited, nurtured and developed from the ever-flowing traditional source of the School, of previous generations of teachers and lecturers, and the tireless creative spirit of the next generations of students."
The exhibition also brings profound sharing from each artist through themes, colors and artistic styles, such as artist Nguyen The Long conveying emotions before nature through poetic works, or artist Nguyen Minh (Minh Pho) finding inspiration from national cultural heritage...
“The Flow” is not only a place for reunion, gratitude and creativity, but also a testament to the continuity of generations, preserving traditional values in a new, vibrant appearance, affirming the pioneering role of the Vietnam University of Fine Arts in the cultural and artistic life of the country.
