Tay Ninh Town People's Procuracy was established in 1976. Mr. Nguyen Hong Phuong held the position of Chief Prosecutor for more than 4 years. In 1986, Tay Ninh Town People's Procuracy was honored to have the first female district-level chief prosecutor of Tay Ninh province, Ms. Tran Minh Le.
In the early years of its establishment, although the staff was small and facilities and equipment were lacking, officials and prosecutors still made constant efforts to overcome difficulties and excellently fulfill the tasks of the agency exercising the right to prosecute and supervise judicial activities of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
With determination, love for the industry, profession, enthusiasm for work, the collective unit constantly strives, trains its will, overcomes difficulties and challenges; always upholds the spirit and responsibility of a prosecutor for the assigned work; strives to be politically steadfast, professionally good, knowledgeable in law, impartial and courageous, disciplined and responsible; trains itself to have a pure heart, resolutely protect and stand for the right.
When conditions and facilities are improved, the leadership team focuses on the spiritual life of officers and prosecutors. Every year, the unit organizes trips to the source to create conditions for civil servants in the unit to strengthen internal solidarity and relax after stressful and tiring working days.
During the nearly 49 years of establishment and operation of the unit, the practice of the right to prosecute, investigate, prosecute, and try criminal cases has achieved a high rate, with no cases of wrongful convictions, missed crimes, suspension of defendants due to non-committal or the court declaring the defendant not guilty. In the civil field, 100% of court judgments and decisions have been strictly supervised.
The rate of criminal and civil appeals is high, the number of accepted appeals is higher year after year, minimizing the situation of annulling or amending judgments. The work of supervising the execution of judgments and handling complaints and denunciations is focused on and achieved high efficiency.
With the solidarity, efforts and striving of civil servants in the unit, the People's Procuracy of Tay Ninh city has achieved many encouraging achievements: for many consecutive years , the Supreme People's Procuracy awarded the Emulation Flag for leading the emulation movement at the district level; in 2009, the President awarded the Third Class Labor Medal; in 2012, the Prime Minister awarded a certificate of merit for outstanding achievements contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland; in 2015, the President awarded the Second Class Labor Medal.
In addition, mass organizations such as the Trade Union and Youth Union Branches have all achieved strong and excellent strength. Every year, on holidays and Tet, the Trade Union, in conjunction with the Youth Union Branches and agencies, organizes gifts for families of war invalids, martyrs, and poor households in the province, contributing to the good implementation of social security work. The unit's grassroots Trade Union was awarded a certificate of merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for its outstanding achievements in Trade Union activities.
Implementing the Party and State's policy on streamlining the apparatus, the People's Procuracy sector, together with the whole country, entered a new era, an era of national growth.
Accordingly, the People's Procuracy of Tay Ninh town - now the People's Procuracy of Tay Ninh city will end its operations on June 30, 2025, after nearly 49 years of establishment and operation, to operate under the model of a regional Procuracy on July 1, 2025. Thereby continuing to implement the motto "Solidarity, responsibility - discipline, integrity - courage, efficiency", promoting the spirit of initiative, creativity, overcoming challenges, proposing solutions to create substantial changes, and effectively performing the functions and tasks of the sector.
