VTV9 launches TV show Alo Doctor

On the afternoon of September 12, Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City (VTV9, under Vietnam Television) launched the television program Alo Doctor.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tu Luong, Director of VTV9, said that the Alo Doctor television program aims to join hands in taking care of the community's health. Through the medical news program "Alo Doctor", VTV9 is committed to working with the health sector and society to convey messages and skills to protect health, contributing to raising awareness of disease prevention for each citizen and the whole community.

The program also helps to push back the problem of fake news, inaccurate and unobjective news in the field of health and disease prevention. Thereby contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment and health care for the people.

Also at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Lien Huong, Deputy Minister of Health , highly appreciated the role of the media in general and VTV9 in particular in raising awareness and changing behavior, connecting the community for the goal of public health. Ms. Huong hopes that Alo Doctor will be a new program, very useful for the community. She believes that the program will fulfill its mission and goals well. The program will also help increase the effectiveness of the Ministry of Health 's communication work in the southern provinces.

At the ceremony, VTV9 and the Central Center for Health Communication and Education (Ministry of Health) signed a memorandum of understanding on coordinating communication on health activities, disseminating knowledge on care, protection and improvement of community health on the Alo Doctor television program.

The Alo Doctor TV show is broadcast at 12:30 - 12:40 every day on VTV9 and other social platforms of the station. Up to now, the show has been broadcast for 2 months.

Also at the ceremony, Military Hospital 175 introduced the model of "Pre-hospital Emergency Team" with the communication coordination of Alo Doctor.

In addition, the Alo Doctor TV program also coordinated with units to launch a community campaign "for the city I love", providing first aid kits for people who do jobs that are potentially dangerous, risky, and prone to accidents and injuries such as urban environmental sanitation workers, firefighters, traffic police, humanitarian volunteers... On this occasion, the first first aid kits were given to the environmental volunteer group "Green Saigon", the Medical Center of Thanh An island commune, Can Gio district and fishermen clinging to the sea in Can Gio in association with the program "Lighting up the lights at sea with fishermen" of the Ho Chi Minh City Law Newspaper.
