Earlier, on the morning of January 30, social media posted a photo of a Hyundai Accent car with license plate 30E-2X2.73 with its license plate covered in tape. The online community strongly condemned the driver's violation.

Upon receiving the information, Traffic Police Team No. 4, Hanoi City Police quickly verified, clarified and requested the driver to come to work. The driver was identified as Mr. TQT (born in 1988, residing in Dong Da, Hanoi).

At the police station, Mr. TQT admitted to using tape to cover the number 8 on the license plate, changing the letter F to the letter E to avoid being fined when participating in traffic. The car was identified as having the license plate 30F-2X2.73.
