Dong Nai: A truck carrying vegetables from Da Lat to Ho Chi Minh City suddenly caught fire, causing traffic jams on Highway 20 for several kilometers on the evening of July 3.

At around 9pm, a truck carrying agricultural products with a Lam Dong license plate was traveling on Highway 20 from Da Lat City to Ho Chi Minh City. When it reached La Nga Commune, Dinh Quan District, the driver smelled a burning smell so he stopped the vehicle to check.

As soon as he got out of the car, the male driver discovered fire coming from the back of the car and called for help from local residents to put out the fire, but to no avail. The fire quickly engulfed the entire car.

Smoke billowed high, many cars were afraid of catching the gasoline and spreading the fire, so they did not dare to pass. Highway 20 was congested for many kilometers.

Dong Nai Fire Police mobilized many specialized vehicles to put out the fire. An hour later, the fire was basically under control and traffic was back to normal.

The fire caused no casualties, but the entire cargo vehicle and property inside the cabin were burned down.
