After the Southeast Asian U23 Championship, Coach Kim Sang-sik will have the opportunity to test himself at the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand.

According to the draw results, the U23 Vietnam team is in Group B with Cambodia and Laos. Coach Kim Sang-sik and his team will meet U23 Laos on July 19 and U23 Cambodia on July 22. To prepare, the U23 Vietnam team is currently training in Ba Ria-Vung Tau.

Recently, coach Kim Sang-sik has shortened the list of Vietnam U23 team from 36 to 28 players. According to the plan, before leaving for Indonesia to participate in the tournament, Mr. Kim Sang-sik will continue to finalize the list of 23 players according to regulations.

The Southeast Asian U23 Championship is considered an opportunity for Vietnam to train its troops and prepare for the important goal in 2025, the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand. U23 Vietnam is in the number 1 seed group at the regional sports festival.
