12 trucks of goods and 300 million VND from Lam Dong people to the damaged area due to storm No. 3

On the evening of August 7, a volunteer delegation of 12 vehicles and 30 members from Lam Dong province officially set off, carrying more than 300 million VND and goods to support people in Nghe An and Dien Bien provinces - places heavily affected by storm No. 3 (storm Wipha).

The working group is a combination of volunteer groups from Cam Ly ward (Da Lat) and Da Huoai 2 commune ( Lam Dong ). Mr. Phan Anh Dung, Director of Phan Anh Dung Production, Trading and Service Co., Ltd. (Duc Trong commune) said: "The group completed the loading and unloading of goods at 78 Thi Sach, Cam Ly ward - Da Lat in the evening of the same day and departed immediately afterwards. The relief journey is expected to last from August 7 to August 23.

The total value of goods and cash that the delegation brought is estimated at about 400 million VND, including about 1,000 gifts worth about 300 million VND and 100 million VND in cash.

These gifts were donated by many kind-hearted people, including essential necessities such as rice, fish sauce, salt, vegetables, instant noodles; household items such as mosquito nets, blankets, buckets of water, soap and especially gifts for students including new clothes, books, pens, shoes.

The delegation's destinations are the villages that suffered the most damage, where people are facing numerous difficulties after the storm. In Nghe An province, the delegation will deliver gifts directly to the communes of My Ly, Tuong Duong and Nai Loi. In Dien Bien province, the delegation will visit the villages of Xa Dung, Tia Dinh and Co De communes (Muong Phang commune).

The close coordination between Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Society and affected localities, along with the kindness of the delegation members, created a meaningful journey.

The trip not only brought material gifts but also words of encouragement, sharing, and giving strength to people to overcome difficulties and gradually stabilize their lives after the storm.
