Visiting and supporting a 14-year-old girl who was beaten by a gang

(CTO) - On the afternoon of August 7, the People's Committee of Tran De commune sent a report to the People's Committee of Can Tho City about the case of L.Ng.N being beaten by a group of people and had to be hospitalized.

L.Ng.N is being monitored at the Medical Center.

Accordingly, at around 2:00 p.m. on August 6, near the Superdong wharf, Dau Giong hamlet, Tran De commune, L.Ng.N, born in 2011, residing in Nha Tho hamlet, Tran De commune, was beaten with hands, feet and helmets by a group of 3 young women: Nguyen Gia H, born in 2011; Lam Thi Bao Ng, born in 2012 and Nguyen Kim Y, born in 2010, all residing in Cang hamlet, Tran De commune. Another young woman named Tran Thi Thanh Q, born in 2012, residing in Cang hamlet, was the one who filmed the fight clip; the person who posted the clip is named X (identity unknown, authorities are currently verifying).

After learning about the incident, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Tran De commune directed the commune police to urgently verify; organize a visit to the victim's family, support 2 million VND and take N to Tran De Regional Medical Center for a health check.

Through examination, initial results showed that N had soft tissue damage and needed to continue monitoring. When stable, he will be discharged from the hospital.

Tran De Commune Police said the incident happened due to a personal conflict, so N was blocked and beaten by the group.
