Coast Guard Region 4 Command received extraordinary commendation

(NLDO) – In just 2 days, the Coast Guard Region 4 Command has arrested 2 fishing boats illegally transporting about 300,000 liters of DO oil in the Southwest sea.

On August 7, at the official session of the 6th Congress of the Vietnam Coast Guard Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, the Command of Coast Guard Region 4 was honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Chief of the Vietnam Coast Guard for its outstanding and outstanding achievements in the fight against crime and law violations - making achievements to welcome the congress.

Lieutenant General Bui Quoc Oai, Political Commissar of the Vietnam Coast Guard, presented a certificate of merit to the Command of Coast Guard Region 4.

The functional forces of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command inspected and arrested fishing boat QB 96679 TS illegally transporting about 260,000 liters of DO oil.

In recent times, with the highest determination to compete towards the Congress of the Vietnam Coast Guard Party Committee, officers and soldiers of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command have always been united, made efforts, overcome difficulties, and strived to excellently complete all assigned tasks, especially on the front of fighting against crimes and law violations at sea.

Typically, on July 27 and 28, the functional forces of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command discovered, arrested and handled 2 fishing boats illegally transporting about 300,000 liters of DO oil in the Southwest sea.

Along with that, on July 30, the force of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command presided over and coordinated with relevant units to arrest a subject in the Phu Quoc special zone ( An Giang province) for illegally buying and selling 215 grams of crystal meth.
