TPO - The project to build a road connecting Xuan Phuong urban area to National Highway 32 is still unfinished after many years of construction.

The project to build a road connecting Nam Tu Liem Secondary School (Phuong Canh street, Xuan Phuong urban area) to National Highway 32 with a total length of 920m through the two districts of Bac Tu Liem and Nam Tu Liem was approved for a feasibility study report in October 2018.

According to the design, the project to build a new road connecting the two districts has a total length of about 920 m. The designed speed of the road is 60 km/h; the cross-section is 40 m, the road surface width is 2 x 11.25 m, the sidewalk width is 2 x 7.25 m, the median strip is 3 m. The road surface is designed with high-grade A1 asphalt concrete, on a thin layer of crushed stone. The total investment of the project is more than 251 billion VND.

According to the plan, the project was built during 2018 - 2020, but it is still unfinished. According to the reporter, the section from Nam Tu Liem Secondary School to the Small and Medium Industrial Park (Nam Tu Liem District) has been completed and put into use. The sidewalks have been paved, new trees have been planted, and the lighting system has been renovated.

However, the project is still unfinished, "deadlocked" at both ends, unable to be built. According to research, the reason is due to problems in site clearance.

The area is located on the new road project that has not been cleared yet in Bac Tu Liem district.

Materials and scrap are piled up at the end of the road.

"I really hope this route can be completed soon, helping many people save time traveling from Thang Long Boulevard to Highway 32 as well as reducing traffic congestion at the gateway to the capital," said Mr. Ngoc (30 years old, Bac Tu Liem, Hanoi ).

The area where the road connecting Xuan Phuong Urban Area - National Highway 32 passes through. Currently there are many houses, the dirt road is rough and small.
