On the morning of June 22, the leader of the People's Committee of Hang Trong Ward (Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi ) said that heavy rain lasting for many hours accompanied by strong winds caused a royal poinciana tree on Trang Thi Street (intersection with Nha Chung Street) to break in half, fall onto the road, and hit 3 cars. Fortunately, no one was injured.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that on June 22, the North will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some places. Tonight, the mountainous and midland areas will have moderate to heavy rain, with very heavy rain in some places. Rainfall is generally between 40 and 90 mm, with some places over 200 mm.

In addition, the Viet Bac and Northwest regions will also have rain from 20 - 40 mm tonight, with some places over 80 mm.
