Reporting on the socio -economic situation in July 2025, Director of the Department of Finance Phan The Hanh said: Immediately after implementing the provincial merger on July 1, 2025 according to Resolution No. 202/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly, the Provincial People's Committee urgently directed relevant departments and branches and promptly advised the Provincial Party Committee to submit to the Provincial Party Committee; submit to the Provincial People's Council to issue Resolutions to serve the direction and administration of the contents and tasks of socio -economic development in the remaining months of 2025; directed the development of growth scenarios for the last 6 months of the year, assigning specific tasks to each sector and field.

Some key projects are the basis for promoting growth but there are still problems with site clearance, business production and business are still difficult, digital transformation is not commensurate... The process of operating the 2-level apparatus and the results of the Party Congress at the commune level also raised many issues that need to be adjusted, lessons learned to continue implementing development goals...

Concluding the Conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi said that he had taken responsibility before the Government for the targets that Lam Dong had not achieved; including the disbursement of public investment capital and key projects. The Chairman requested: In the coming time, focus on implementing key tasks in economic development to ensure growth of over 8%; focus on stabilizing the apparatus, resolving difficulties and problems for civil servants, public employees and workers...

The Chairman requested the Secretaries and Chairmen of communes, wards and special zones to review within their own organizations the assignment of personnel to the right roles and to know their duties; if there are any shortages, recruit them to do the right job. Departments and branches carry out training activities in all three areas. Focus on socio-economic development tasks: Resolve investment approval dossiers of enterprises. Chairmen of communes, wards and special zones review non-budget projects in their areas and report to the Department of Finance; focus on clearing land for traffic works to connect spaces; review revenue sources; and renovate office landscapes into small parks of thousands of flowers.

The Provincial People's Committee has approved the "Digital Education for All" plan to train the entire population in the use of AI, virtual assistants, and ChatGPT... In August, there will be a Business Dialogue Conference; in October, an Investment Promotion Conference will be held. Difficulties and problems of communes, wards, and special economic zones will be recorded online and timely solutions will be provided...

Results achieved:

(1) The total cultivated area reached 925.7 thousand hectares, reaching 89.4% of the plan and increasing by 5.5% over the same period last year. The total food output reached 415.2 thousand tons. The aquaculture area reached about 6,694 hectares, increasing by 1.1% over the same period, and the output reached 10,123 tons, increasing by 1.3% over the same period.

(2) In the first 7 months of the year, 22/27 main products also increased compared to the same period, of which, CO2 gas increased 2.2 times and tablets of all kinds increased 55.04%, in particular, electricity production reached 22,549.52 million kWh, up 4.8%.

(3) Total retail sales of goods and service revenue in July increased by 10.75%, and the cumulative increase in the first 7 months of the year was 13.53%, reaching 144,214.3 billion VND. Export turnover of goods in July increased by 7.01%, and the cumulative increase in the first 7 months of the year was 18.91%, reaching 1,848.7 million USD.

(4) In July, the province welcomed 2 million visitors, an increase of 6.4%, of which international visitors reached 95 thousand, an increase of 8.6%. In the first 7 months of 2025, the total number of visitors reached nearly 14.2 million (an increase of 18.1%), with international visitors increasing by an impressive 49.1%, reaching over 893.3 thousand.

(5) In the first 7 months of the year, 1,726 new enterprises were established, an increase of 19.1% in quantity and 2.3% in registered capital; the number of enterprises resuming operations increased by 10.1% over the same period. There were 37 newly licensed projects with a total registered investment capital of 13,706.85 billion VND, an area of 673.71 hectares; to date, the province has 2,934 projects with a total investment capital of about 2 million billion VND.

(6) Total state budget revenue in the area implemented by July 30, 2025 is 18,696 billion VND, equal to 70% of the central budget estimate and 66% of the local budget estimate. Total local budget expenditure by July 30, 2025 is 36,764 billion VND, equal to 82% of the central budget estimate and 77% of the local budget estimate.
