On the other hand, through meaningful gifts and practical activities, the Dong Nai Provincial Police force has clearly demonstrated its core role, closely attached to and accompanying the people, contributing to building a solid security posture right from the grassroots.

Compassion in every action

In the atmosphere of the whole country competing to achieve achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection, the Dong Nai Provincial Public Security force and local public security forces have simultaneously organized many activities to care for the people with the motto "close to the people, closely following the people, serving the people".

Through the National Movement to Protect National Security, small but meaningful gifts were given directly to families with meritorious services, poor but studious students, and representatives of religious establishments... This activity not only contributes to sharing immediate difficulties, but also spreads the spirit of social responsibility and the connection between the two-level local government in general and the police force in particular with the community.

Typically, during the National Day for National Security Protection in Binh Loc Ward, Dong Nai Province on July 25, the Provincial Police presented 20 bicycles and many scholarships to students in especially difficult circumstances, without support or lacking conditions to go to school. In addition, many gifts were sent to families with revolutionary contributions, ethnic minorities, religious establishments, and the disadvantaged, etc.

A highlight of the series of activities was giving gifts to students in difficult circumstances, giving them confidence to overcome adversity and move forward to the future. Truong Cong Quang (Nguyen Huu Canh Primary School, Binh Loc Commune) was orphaned at a young age and is currently living with relatives in extremely difficult economic conditions. The gift of a new bicycle handed to him not only helps him to get to school more conveniently, but also clearly demonstrates the spirit of sharing and affection of the police force and local authorities towards future generations.

Not only supporting and caring for the lives of people in the province, with the spirit of mutual love, the Provincial Police also accompanied and supported people outside the province who encountered natural disasters to overcome difficulties. For example, on August 2, a working delegation of the Dong Nai Provincial Police led by Major General Nguyen Duc Hai, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police, visited and presented 1.6 billion VND to support people and families of officers and soldiers affected by storm No. 3 in Nghe An province.

Major General Nguyen Duc Hai sent his condolences and encouragement to the people, families of officers and soldiers affected by storm No. 3; at the same time, he hoped that the people of Nghe An province in general and the Nghe An Provincial Police in particular would soon overcome difficulties and gradually stabilize their lives and work.

The National Day for National Security Protection is not only limited to visiting and giving gifts, but also incorporates many professional activities to prevent and stop crimes such as: propagating the law, calling and questioning to deter criminals, collecting weapons, explosives, and supporting tools...

Specifically, on August 1, Loc Ninh Commune Police, Dong Nai Province organized many activities such as: strengthening propaganda, mobilizing people to hand over weapons, explosives, support tools and fireworks; expanding inspection and screening of high-risk areas and subjects, especially in border areas, wharves, warehouses; strictly handling violations... This activity has contributed to raising the spirit, awareness of law compliance and crime denunciation of the masses.

“The highest goal of the National Movement for National Security Protection is to mobilize the highest strength of the people, closely connect the people's hearts, and unify the implementation of the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws. From there, we will create a solid source of strength to help the country overcome all difficulties, develop rapidly and sustainably, and achieve the goals set by the Party,” Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, emphasized.

Building a strong and lasting movement

The activities of caring for people's lives in the Movement for the Protection of National Security not only demonstrate the sense of responsibility but also prove the core role of the police force in building a solid people's security posture from the grassroots. During the National Day for National Security Protection in Binh Loc Ward on July 25, Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, highly appreciated the efforts of Dong Nai Provincial Police in promoting the effectiveness of the 2-level local police model, and performing well the core role in the National Security Protection Movement.

According to the leader of the Ministry of Public Security, the streamlining of the organization and operation of the two-level local government is an important historical milestone of strategic significance to build a government that is close to the people, closely connected to the people, and better serves the people; creating a new development space and driving force, all aimed at improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

To continue promoting the achieved results, Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung suggested that Dong Nai Provincial Police continue to improve the quality of staff work at local Party committees and authorities, associated with building models of self-defense, self-management, self-protection, self-reconciliation; building cultural and united families and schools; close neighbors, helping each other; peaceful villages and streets, without law violations.

On the other hand, localities need to pay attention to effectively implementing socio-economic development policies, ensuring that all people enjoy the fruits of innovation and development; care for the lives of workers in industrial parks... At the same time, organize gratitude activities, visit, encourage, and pay attention to the regime and policies for the families of cadres working in movement building, forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level and the masses injured in the fight against crime.

With the participation of the entire political system and the consensus of the people, the People's Movement to Protect National Security in Dong Nai province is growing stronger, deeper and creating positive effects. The beautiful gestures and practical actions are also vivid evidence of a police force that forgets itself for the country and serves the people.
