During the music night Thinking of Dad, Hong Loan, daughter of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh, performed the song 20 years of love in the rambutan season. This is one of the hits of the "king of reformed opera" in the 90s. While singing and thinking about her late father, Hong Loan burst into tears, saying "Dad, I miss you" which made the audience choke up and feel sorry.

As the daughter of the "king of reformed opera" Vu Linh, Hong Loan received public attention when participating in the concert. The concert was packed with audiences from early on.
It was her first time singing on stage, so she was under a lot of pressure. Actor Linh Ty guided and supported her in her first performance, her introduction to the audience. Many friends, colleagues and fans of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh gave Hong Loan bouquets of flowers, gifts and cash to encourage and cheer her on.
After the performance at Trong Dong stage, Hong Loan and the artists will fly to Australia to prepare for the music night taking place on April 5.

Before that, Hong Loan also tried her hand at acting in the movie Bright Lights. She played a woman who was mistaken for her daughter by Mr. Canh Son (played by artist Chi Tam). Hong Loan's character did not appear much but was quite humorous and cheerful, bringing laughter to the audience and other artists. Hong Loan also participated in plays, short films, TV series and music videos.
Hong Loan's life changed and faced many difficulties after Meritorious Artist Vu Linh passed away in March 2023. Meritorious Artist Vu Linh did not leave a will when he passed away. Hong Loan moved to the house where Meritorious Artist Vu Linh used to live.
After the death of artist Vu Linh, the family was in turmoil due to a dispute over the property left by the "king of reformed classical opera". The lawsuit filed by artist Hong Nhung (Vu Linh's younger sister) against Hong Loan (the artist's daughter) is being handled by the People's Court of Phu Nhuan District (HCMC). The case is currently being prepared for trial.
