Voters of Ba Dinh, Ngoc Ha, and Giang Vo wards propose to speed up the renovation, construction, and repair of old apartment buildings.

On the afternoon of July 31, delegates of the Hanoi City People's Council - Constituency No. 1 met with voters of three wards: Ba Dinh, Ngoc Ha, Giang Vo after the twenty-fifth session of the 16th City People's Council, term 2021-2026.

At the conference, after listening to the Hanoi People's Council delegates report on the results of the session, voters of the three wards expressed their trust and appreciation for the results of the twenty-fifth session of the Hanoi People's Council, term XVI, 2021-2026.

Along with that, voters of Ba Dinh ward proposed to consider transferring the land and house at 17-19 Dang Dung street to the local government for management and use to invest in building a kindergarten in the ward; transferring the land and house at 9 Quan Thanh street to the local government for management to serve as a place for community activities for the people. Voters also proposed issues regarding the progress of the Ke Khe canal project; handling cases of violations of construction order on the city's drainage system...

Voters of Ngoc Ha ward recommended that the City People's Council should strengthen monitoring and urging the implementation of issued resolutions, ensuring that policies and guidelines are soon put into practice. Voters also requested that competent authorities focus on completely removing obstacles related to site clearance, investment procedures, ensuring the progress of key projects, such as the investment project to build Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region, Tu Lien Bridge and urgent public projects...

Voters of Giang Vo ward pointed out that the site clearance work for the Ring Road 1 project, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section, is still in disarray, so solutions are needed to ensure environmental sanitation; recommend speeding up the renovation, construction or repair of old apartment buildings, ensuring a safe and stable quality of life for the people; competent authorities should soon issue instructions on authorizing judicial officers to sign and certify simple administrative procedures such as CVs, notarization, and certified copies of documents, etc.

Regarding the fact that from July 1, 2026, there will be no more fossil fuel motorbikes circulating in Ring Road 1, voters of Giang Vo and Ba Dinh wards said that the ban on fossil fuel motorbikes circulating in Ring Road 1 needs to be comprehensively studied for socio-economic benefits and public awareness; a roadmap should be proposed in parallel with the construction of urban traffic infrastructure and a policy to switch from fossil fuel motorbikes to electric vehicles.

At the conference, delegate Pham Quang Thanh, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Ba Dinh Ward, received voters' opinions, clarified a number of issues and said he would forward the recommendations to the authorities for consideration and resolution.
