On June 15, information from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh said that this unit had just received a document from the Quang Ninh Investment Promotion and Support Board requesting support for the investor of the Ha Long Bay hotel project and high-end service area (Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long City) to proactively follow up with the Office of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies to speed up the progress.
The golden land that has been abandoned for many years in Ha Long is where the procedures for implementing the Ha Long Bay Hotel project and High-class Service Area are being carried out.
Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ha Long CLUBM Joint Stock Company - said that the investor has won the bid for land use rights to implement the Ha Long Bay hotel project and high-class service area (Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long City).
According to regulations, investment preparation procedures such as environmental impact assessment; handover of sea areas; project design appraisal must be approved by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for project construction.
However, it has been more than 17 months since the land auction but the project has not yet been approved by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. To support the investor, the Quang Ninh Investment Promotion Board has just requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to proactively follow up to remove the above difficulties and obstacles.
The land is located on a beautiful road, next to Ha Long Bay.
The Ha Long Bay Hotel and Luxury Service Area project (Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long City) is located on a 4.7-hectare prime land on the shore of Ha Long Bay.
This land was previously part of the Sheraton Ha Long Bay hotel project, which started construction in October 2015. However, after the grand groundbreaking ceremony, the project was surrounded by corrugated iron and abandoned, allowing weeds to overrun it.
By March 2016, the project investor proposed to change the scale and design of the project in the direction of expansion, adding an office building and moving the hotel location towards the sea. The project was then renamed the Ha Long Bay Hotel and High-end Service Area project.
