In recent days, Highway 3 through Hoa Binh village, Nam Phuoc commune, Da Nang city (Duy Phuoc commune, Duy Xuyen district, old Quang Nam ) has become a destination attracting a large number of tourists.
On the hundreds of meters long road, the brilliant pink color of blooming wallflowers creates a poetic, romantic scene, attracting tourists to check-in.

Three years ago, the government of Duy Phuoc commune (now Nam Phuoc) implemented a project to build a model green road, part of the new rural construction plan.
About 100 bougainvillea plants, each worth 300,000 VND, were purchased with socialized funds and planted along DH3 road. The plants were planted about 3m apart, with a height of 1.5-3m, forming a long row standing out in the middle of the green rice fields.
Wallflowers are summer flowering plants, usually blooming from mid-June and lasting until about mid-September.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai (63 years old, living in Nam Phuoc commune) shared: “When the government planted them, people didn’t pay much attention, they just thought they were normal ornamental plants. Last year the trees also bloomed but not much, only this year did they bloom so much and so brilliantly.”

The sudden blooming of the wallflowers has created a phenomenon that attracts tourists. Ms. Mai excitedly said: “Many people are happy that Quang Nam - Da Nang are reunited, so the wallflowers bloom to welcome them. The most crowded tourists are on weekends, just like Tet, very happy”.
From early morning, many tourists flocked to the flower street, dressed in charming ao dai and ao ba ba to capture beautiful moments.
Ms. Nguyen Thuy Dung (42 years old, living in Hoi An Dong ward, Da Nang) and a group of friends made an appointment to come here to take pictures.
“I see a lot of wallflowers but only single trees, to have a whole road like this is very rare. Wallflowers blooming next to green rice fields is very beautiful, the scene is peaceful and poetic," she shared.

Ms. Dung also advised visitors to be careful when taking photos because the flower path is located next to a road with quite a lot of traffic: "When you come to take photos, you should pull your vehicle to the side of the road and walk carefully."
Wallflower is a small tree with many branches, brown branches and oval leaves growing close together. Wallflower flowers are small, fragile petals but form large clusters, creating a brilliant beauty. Wallflowers come in many different colors such as pink, red, white, light pink, of which the most common are pink and red.
Each color of wallflower carries its own message and meaning. White flowers symbolize pure love, pink flowers represent a promise of loyalty, and red flowers convey a message of love and care.
