As a result, The Cong Viettel won with a score of 4-3, thereby advancing to the final match of the international friendly tournament.
Speaking after the match, The Cong Viettel coach Nguyen Duc Thang said: "My team and I had 2 weeks of work before the first match. Actually, winning against Hanoi FC does not say much when the opponent lacks many national and foreign players. What I am satisfied with is that the players have a good fighting spirit and a desire to win. The performance also somewhat meets the requirements, but there are still many passes and final situations that are not accurate."
Regarding Hoang Duc's return, Mr. Thang added: "Duc's physical condition is only about 90-05%. Today, he somewhat demonstrated the qualities of a star player. However, because his form is not high, he has not achieved what I expected. In the squad, I want Hoang Duc to play more hidden to escape the marking of opponents and play freely to promote his strengths."
