Held in early July in Singapore, the Asian Banking & Finance Awards honored financial institutions that have made outstanding contributions to innovation, creativity and positive impact on the market in Asia. The event attracted more than 100 financial and banking institutions and more than 300 senior leaders from more than 30 countries.

Providing practical financial solutions in the strategy of building a sustainable financial institution, Home Credit made its mark with two prestigious categories: Finance Company of the Year and Customer Experience Initiative of the Year.

Mr. Leos Gregor - Director of Risk Management Home Credit Vietnam received the award.

Mr. Leos Gregor - Director of Risk Management at Home Credit affirmed: “With a commitment towards professionalism and sustainable development, Home Credit will continue to empower people to create the life they want, thereby promoting positive changes in life and contributing to the growth of the Vietnamese economy ”.

In addition, the Customer Experience Initiative of the Year Award recognized Home Credit’s efforts in improving its loan collection process while helping customers maintain their financial commitments. In a context where many customers have complained about payment reminder calls and the lack of clear industry-wide standards for loan collection processes, Home Credit’s initiatives have contributed to framing and building a civilized and responsible approach, thereby improving customer experience and setting a positive standard for this activity in the market.

Home Credit recorded a positive business performance report last year with a profit after tax of VND 1,291 billion at the end of the fourth quarter of 2024. The non-performing loan (NPL) ratio dropped sharply to 1.76%, the lowest level compared to other companies in the same industry. The company continuously innovated and improved core products such as Home App, Home PayLater and credit cards, continued to maintain a positive brand image, and promoted sustainable digital finance through technological innovations.
