In this Asian club-level tournament, the HCMC women's team is in Group C with Urawa Red Diamond (Japan), Taichung Blue Whale (Taiwan) and the top team of Group B of the qualifying round (including Odisha of India, Etihad of Jordan and Lion City Sailors of Singapore).

The HCMC women's team is highly rated in the AFC Women's Champions League, so they want to strengthen Huynh Nhu to go far in this tournament. The group stage matches of the HCMC women's team in the Asian Cup will take place from October 6 to 12.
