SEA V.League is a tournament dominated by the Thai women's volleyball team, having won the title in all 7 previous editions. However, their challenge this year is not small.
In the prestigious Volleyball Nations League (VNL), Thailand struggled and only managed to stay in the league in the final moments. Many of the team's key players are showing signs of decline.

Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet brought 14 athletes to the first stage of this year's SEA V.League, including: Nguyen Thi Ninh Anh, Luu Thi Ly Ly, Nguyen Khanh Dang, Tran Thi Bich Thuy, Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh, Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen, Nguyen Thi Uyen, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, Doan Lam Oanh, Vo Thi Kim Thoa, Nguyen Thi Trinh, Le Thanh Thuy, Pham Thi Hien, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy.
This lineup created quite a few surprises, with 3 liberos including Ninh Anh, Ly Ly and Khanh Dang. Meanwhile, the number of main attackers was reduced by one person, namely Nguyen Thi Phuong.
Mr. Kiet is famous for his tactical flexibility. Therefore, this could be an interesting calculation.
With Thailand not in good form, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team has the right to be confident of unexpected results. On the opening day, they will face Indonesia.
Next, they will continue to face the Philippines. Overcoming these two opponents is a must for the Vietnamese team. After that, they will fight the host Thailand in the final match.
