Hoang Sa Exhibition House receives many valuable French documents

Information from Hoang Sa Exhibition House (Da Nang City) said that in the first 6 months of the year, NTB has promoted the collection and documentation work with more than 60 thematic articles, 150 newspaper files and 70 images from official domestic and foreign press channels.

In particular, NTB has received 151 French documents, of which 40 have been translated and analyzed in depth, effectively serving the work of exhibition, research and propaganda. In addition, many valuable artifacts have also been added to the archive, including: geological maps, publications and military uniforms donated by the Command of Naval Region 3. Along with that, the unit has implemented research on the project to build a collection of marine biological samples from Da Nang, serving the work of exhibition and research at NTB, linking ecosystem conservation with the protection of sea and island sovereignty .

Also in the first 6 months of the year, NTB Hoang Sa welcomed nearly 20,000 visitors (an increase of more than 22% compared to 2024). Of which, students and young people accounted for the highest proportion with more than 63%; officials, civil servants, and armed forces accounted for more than 10%; tourists , households, and other groups of visitors accounted for 26%.

NTB has also welcomed many diplomatic delegations, such as: Mr. Kato Tetsuro, First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan; Ms. Carol Holmes, Political Counselor and Ms. Cecilia Brennan, Economic Counselor of the Australian Embassy in Hanoi. In addition, NTB has promoted mobile exhibitions at higher education institutions, introducing documents about Hoang Sa and Truong Sa through major events such as: Quang Ngai Tourism program - The attraction of heritage and identity in Ly Son, the fishing festival, participating in the exhibition Da Nang - Development and integration ...
