We arrived at the Ban Mai private kindergarten (Quang Phu ward) when the Star class was having a practical session with the experiment “Meteor shower”. Under the teacher’s guidance, the children together created a “starry sky” right in the classroom. The sparkling “stars” fell amid the admiration, delighted eyes and bright smiles of the children. Through this activity, the children not only learned about amazing natural phenomena but also practiced their observation skills, reflexes and teamwork.
Meanwhile, the children of the Sky class at this facility are also participating in the activity of “Creating a family tree”. Each leaf on the tree represents a family member, which the children meticulously attach to the tree with all their love and pride. Through this, the children not only practice their dexterity but also learn to recognize and name family members, understand more about family affection, and appreciate their loved ones.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ly, owner of Ban Mai private kindergarten, said: “Along with implementing many solutions to improve the quality of child care and education, the facility also invests in pianos to help children develop their musical talents, hires foreign teachers to teach English to children...; integrates STEM education content, life skills education on many different topics, helping children practice communication skills, group cooperation, quick reflexes through collective games, activities... Thereby, helping children form good habits and develop their thinking".
Similarly, at the Bon Kids private nursery (Hac Thanh ward), to meet the needs of teaching and learning, the nursery owner has built spacious facilities, ensuring conditions for caring for, nurturing, and educating children...
Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Tam, Professional Manager at Bon Kids private independent nursery group, said: “The facility currently has more than 50 children aged 14 months to 4 years old, divided into 4 groups of classes. Along with focusing on investing in facilities, purchasing modern equipment and toys, the facility has constantly innovated teaching methods, paid attention to and built open educational programs to improve quality, provide knowledge and skills for children, such as: Life skills education, teaching talents and experiential activities, field trips... The integration of learning and playing not only creates excitement for children but also lays the initial foundation for comprehensive physical and intellectual development in children”.

In addition, we also combine teaching according to STEM and Montessori methods. In the near future, we will open more kindergarten classes and recruit more experienced teachers to meet the increasing demand for childcare from parents."
To ensure children's rights and strengthen the prevention and control of violence and child abuse, at the end of April 2025, the National Committee for Children issued Official Dispatch No. 2444/UBQGVTE requesting the Ministry of Education and Training to direct the review, inspection and examination of preschools (especially independent preschools) to promptly and strictly handle facilities that violate regulations and rules on organization and operation of a safe, healthy and friendly educational environment, contributing to the prevention and control of school violence. At the same time, strengthen the dissemination and education of knowledge and skills on the prevention and control of child abuse; prevention and control of school violence for managers, teachers, staff of educational institutions, families and children.
According to the provisions of Decree No. 142/2024/ND-CP recently issued by the Government, from July 1, 2025, the Chairman of the People's Committee at the commune level will be delegated the authority to directly manage preschool, primary and secondary schools in the area under their management. Therefore, in order to contribute to improving the quality of child care and education at private preschools, the People's Committees of wards and communes need to strengthen inspection and supervision of the organization and operation of private preschools in the area; encourage facilities to invest more in facilities, teaching equipment, pay attention to and attract qualified teachers... Thereby contributing to improving the quality of child care and education.
