Quang Nam adjusts investment policy for 3 urgent anti-erosion embankment projects on riverbanks and seashores

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee has adjusted the project name to "Project to urgently overcome landslides on the Quang Hue riverbank through Phu Nghia village (Dai An commune, Dai Loc district).

The investment objective of the project is to overcome the landslide situation on the Quang Hue riverbank through Phu Nghia village, Dai An commune, Dai Loc district to protect lives, property, cultivated land and riverside infrastructure works, contributing to stabilizing people's lives and developing the socio-economy of the project area.

With the Thu Bon Riverbank Emergency Erosion Prevention Project Phase 2 (Duy Thu and Duy Tan communes, Duy Xuyen), the project name will be adjusted to "Thu Bon Riverbank Emergency Erosion Prevention Project in Duy Thu and Duy Tan communes, Duy Xuyen district".

The investment objective of the project is to invest in overcoming riverbank erosion, protecting lives, property, cultivated land and riverside infrastructure works, contributing to stabilizing people's lives and developing the socio-economy of the project area.

For the emergency coastal erosion control project in Ha Loc village (Tam Tien commune, Nui Thanh), the project name is adjusted to "Emergency coastal erosion remediation project in Ha Loc village, Tam Tien commune, Nui Thanh district".

The investment objective of the project is to invest in the construction of embankments to overcome coastal erosion in Ha Loc village, Tam Tien commune, Nui Thanh district, ensuring the safety of property and lives of people in the project area; contributing to the regeneration of the beach and socio-economic development of the project area.

All three projects are invested by the Provincial Management Board of Investment and Construction of Agricultural and Rural Development Works, implemented in 2024 from the central budget with a total investment of 200 billion VND. Of which, the sea embankment project in Ha Loc village has a total investment of 75 billion VND; Thu Bon river embankment 60.5 billion VND; Vu Gia river embankment 64.5 billion VND.
