Phan Rang Ward: Strengthening food safety work

On August 7, the People's Committee of Phan Rang Ward issued a document directing the strengthening of food safety and food poisoning prevention for establishments under the management of the industry and trade sector.

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Phan Rang Ward requested the Cultural Center and Public Service Providers of the Ward, and the Heads of Residential Groups to promote the dissemination of legal regulations on food safety to food production and trading establishments in the industry and trade sector in the area under their management. In particular, focusing on communication work on warning information on food safety risks and food poisoning prevention and control to raise awareness and consciousness of the community in ensuring food safety. The People's Committee of Phan Rang Ward also requested GO! Ninh Thuan Trade Center, Co.opmart Thanh Ha Supermarket, Bach Hoa Xanh store system, Vinmart+ and food production and trading enterprises in the industry and trade sector in the ward: Organize propaganda, guidance, and information on knowledge of ensuring food safety in food production, trading and consumption to raise awareness, change behaviors and habits that do not ensure food safety and hygiene in selecting, processing, preserving and using food; comply with legal regulations on food safety; Review, develop and update food poisoning response plans; promptly coordinate with the health sector and relevant authorities to handle food poisoning incidents, limiting the impact on the production and business activities of the enterprise.
