Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company is focusing all resources on implementing the Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Iron and Steel Complex Project (Complex 2) in Dung Quat Economic Zone, with a total investment of VND 85,000 billion, expected to be put into trial operation in the first quarter of 2025.
However, at present, there are still some problems and difficulties related to electricity sources, water sources and construction material gathering locations... affecting the overall progress of this project.
Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee Tran Phuoc Hien requested the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks to urgently complete the zoning planning documents and submit them to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval as soon as possible to ensure the synchronous implementation of infrastructure projects in Dung Quat Economic Zone . Investors need to prepare all procedures to be ready for implementation immediately after receiving the investment policy.
The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province assigned the Management Board to coordinate with relevant departments, branches and Binh Son district to carefully study the Company's proposals, especially issues related to electricity and water resources, environmental impacts, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and advising the Provincial People's Committee on appropriate solutions.
