The exhibition is part of the New South Wales Education Showcase Vietnam series of events, offering students and parents the opportunity to learn more about Australia's leading popular study destination.

Hundreds of attendees had the opportunity to learn about study abroad opportunities, visa application processes, employment support programs, as well as life for international students in Sydney and New South Wales.

Attendees will also receive 1:1 direct consultation with educational institutions, immerse themselves in the Australian educational environment, explore diverse study programs and experience study abroad life through interactive booths and lively presentations.

Speaking at the Exhibition, Mr. Andrew Parker, Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner of New South Wales for ASEAN, emphasized that Sydney city and New South Wales state are priority study abroad destinations for Vietnamese students.

In addition to excellent education and research quality, Sydney city and New South Wales state also offer countless opportunities and a comprehensive living environment that Vietnamese students can take advantage of.

According to Professor Tran Thi Ly, an expert on international education at Deakin University (Australia), Vietnam continues to be a fairly reliable market for universities in the land of kangaroos, with most students being hard-working and good at studying. The relationship between Vietnam and Australia has also warmed in recent times.

As of October 2023, there were more than 31,600 Vietnamese students studying in Australia, ranking 6th in terms of international students. This number includes high school students, university students, college students, vocational students or English language students. Of which, the largest concentration of Vietnamese students is in Victoria (about 13,400 people), followed by New South Wales (11,500 people).

On September 14, the New South Wales Study Abroad Exhibition will be held in Ho Chi Minh City.
