Donate 1 ton of rice and necessities

(CT) - On the morning of July 3, a working delegation led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City and President of the City Women's Union, visited and presented gifts to people being cared for and treated at the Hau Giang Provincial Social Work Center (formerly known as the Social Work Center), located in Vi Thuy commune.

The Social Work Center is currently nurturing, caring for, and treating nearly 300 people with neurological and mental disabilities, including 65 women.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh kindly visited and wished good health to the staff, employees, and those being cared for and treated at the Center. Appreciating the efforts and praising the achievements of the unit in recent times, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh encouraged the collective of leaders, civil servants, and workers to continue to unite and overcome difficulties to better care for the material and spiritual lives of the disadvantaged, especially women; continue to pay attention to improving the landscape, creating a bright, green, clean, beautiful, and safe environment.

On this occasion, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh donated 1 ton of rice and many necessities to the Center: instant noodles, fish sauce, cooking oil, etc., with a total cost of nearly 20 million VND.
