Vietnamese chess team won silver medal at ASIAD 19 in mixed category.

However, only chess brought medals to the Vietnamese Sports delegation.

Specifically, players Lai Ly Huynh, Nguyen Thanh Bao and Nguyen Hoang Yen won silver medals in the mixed men's and women's event.

As of the morning of October 2, the land of golden temples has 10 gold medals, 6 silver medals and 14 bronze medals. Currently, Thailand is only 1 gold medal behind the team ranked above, Uzbekistan.

In the top group, China still showed complete dominance when winning 132 gold medals, 72 silver medals and 39 bronze medals.

Even the host team of ASIAD 19 has about 4 times more gold medals than the team right behind, Korea (30 gold medals).

The next positions in the top 5 belong to Japan (29 gold medals, 41 silver medals, 42 bronze medals), India (13 gold medals, 21 silver medals, 19 bronze medals).

Southeast Asian countries are also doing quite well in the medal table.

Specifically, Indonesia (ranked 10th, 4 gold medals), Malaysia (ranked 14th, 3 gold medals), Singapore (ranked 15th, 2 gold medals)...
