In the 2020 - 2025 term, in the spirit of thoroughly grasping and seriously implementing the resolutions and directives of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of Military Hospital 175 have made many innovations in leadership, direction, closely following the tasks, deploying and implementing comprehensively all aspects of work, prioritizing key, key and extraordinary tasks. The hospital has successfully completed the task of ensuring medical care for seas and islands, extraordinary tasks and United Nations peacekeeping activities; the quality of medical examination and treatment has been improved, training, scientific research and international cooperation have been strengthened.

During the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee and Board of Directors of Military Hospital 175 determined to continue to lead and direct the continuous improvement of the reputation, brand and development of the Hospital to become a "Multi-functional, specialized, high-tech, modern military medical complex, on par with the region and the world"; striving to become a special-class hospital by the end of the term. The Hospital effectively maintains 83 hospital quality management criteria of the Ministry of Health with an average score of 4.5 or higher, aiming towards international standards.

The hospital continues to maintain hierarchical techniques, focusing on cutting-edge techniques, researching and developing many new, advanced, specialized techniques; mastering kidney and liver transplant techniques. At the same time, developing many advanced techniques based on existing and future equipment. By the end of the term, the hospital strives to have 4-5 professors and associate professors, and at least 70% or more of the treating physicians in the clinical departments have postgraduate qualifications.

Speaking at the congress, Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang praised and highly appreciated the outstanding achievements of Military Hospital 175 in the past term; at the same time, he requested the Hospital Party Committee to focus on leading the construction and development of a strong and comprehensive hospital, with a plan and roadmap to implement the prescribed criteria, build a special-class hospital, and orient the development of the hospital to international standards according to Decision No. 1576/QD-TTg dated December 16, 2024 of the Prime Minister on approving the plan to implement the network of medical facilities for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2025.

Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang suggested that the Hospital focus on improving the quality of diagnosis, emergency care, treatment, and patient care; promote its potential, strengths, and technical means, especially new, specialized, and modern technological equipment to serve the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients inside and outside the Army. Along with that, expand international cooperation in training, scientific research, technology transfer, and focus on training high-quality human resources.

Military Hospital 175 needs to strictly maintain its military medical forces and equipment in combat readiness and emergency situations, improve the quality and effectiveness of military medical work for seas and islands, and successfully complete its mission of participating in United Nations peacekeeping operations.

According to the program, the congress will take place until August 8. The congress will elect the Party Executive Committee of Military Hospital 175 for the 2025-2030 term and delegates to the 12th Military Party Congress.
