Since its first public debut in 2009, the concert program "What remains forever" founded by VietNamNet newspaper under the direction of the Ministry of Information and Communications has been held annually at 2:00 p.m. on September 2 at the Hanoi Opera House. The organizers explained that the time of 2:00 p.m. was chosen because this was the moment when Uncle Ho read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. This year, the program continues to be carried out in coordination with IB Group.

The diversity in the picture of Vietnamese music is still honored, picture 1.

According to journalist Nguyen Van Ba - Editor-in-Chief of Vietnamnet newspaper - Head of the Organizing Committee, the program aims to honor the diversity in the picture of Vietnamese music , which is the most noble mission of Dieu Con Mai during the 13 years of organization. There, works when music written for orchestra or one/several musical instruments or vocal works that emphasize academic quality are introduced. More specifically, sometimes famous songs of the revolutionary song genre, lyrical song genre are "academized" in the form of luxurious chamber music performances with high artistic value.

“Since its inception, the National Concert “What remains forever” has always fulfilled its own mission, at the same time being a bridge to bring audiences to Vietnamese symphonic chamber music, helping to bring academic music closer to the domestic public. Through music, the program also arouses patriotism and national pride deep in the hearts of every Vietnamese person,” emphasized Mr. Nguyen Van Ba.

One of the significant innovations of Dieu Con Mai 2023 is that the Organizing Committee invited musician Tran Manh Hung to be the Music Director. With Dieu Con Mai 2023, musician Tran Manh Hung not only edited but also arranged, harmonized and arranged all the works played in the program. This created a unified musical script for this year's concert.
