(NLDO)- Trang An scenic complex, a world cultural and natural heritage in Ninh Binh, has just been honored as an "influential destination".
On November 23, news from the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism said that at the Kotler Awards 2024 Ceremony (evening of November 22), Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, a world cultural and natural heritage, was honored to receive the "Impactful Destination" award.

This is one of the prestigious international awards founded by Professor Philip Kotler, to honor individuals, organizations, businesses and experts with outstanding achievements in the fields of marketing, business, and strategic management.
The aim of the award is to share these success stories with the global network, contributing to enhancing the value of brands around the world.
From more than 120 nominations for this year's awards, the Vietnamese and international judging panels have selected 27 outstanding candidates to be honored in all 9 categories.

This is a worthy recognition for the efforts to build the tourism brand of Ninh Binh province with the core being the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex. The impacts of the Trang An World Heritage Site on the sustainable development of the tourism industry and the lives of local communities.

The value and brand of Trang An for sustainable tourism development and the community can be clearly seen through the numbers and changes in 2024.
According to the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism, in 2024, Trang An recorded strong growth in revenue and tourist arrivals, especially tourist spending. This scenic spot was highly rated by Trip Advisor with 4.5/5 points and was listed in the world's top 10 travel experiences in the Travelers' Choice Awards Best of the Best Things to Do 2024.
The strong development of tourism in Trang An has contributed to diversifying local economic sectors, creating job opportunities for many workers, especially female workers.
2024 also marks the 10-year milestone of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex becoming the first mixed cultural and natural world heritage site in Southeast Asia.
Trang An is considered a typical model of harmonious combination between economic development, sustainable tourism and nature protection. This complex has become a symbol of Vietnam's commitment to implementing the UNESCO convention on the protection of world cultural and natural heritage.
