Awarding the "Fatherland's Gratitude" certificate to martyr Cao Van Minh

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the morning of July 23, at the headquarters of Dien Lu Commune People's Committee, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with the locality to organize a ceremony to award the "Fatherland's Gratitude" certificate to Martyr Cao Van Minh. Attending the ceremony were Colonel Nguyen Van Dong, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command, leaders of the local government of Dien Lu Commune, the Command of Quang Chieu Border Guard Station, relatives of the Martyr's family and local people.

In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, the representative of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard Command presented the Prime Minister's Certificate of "National Gratitude" to the relatives of martyr Cao Van Minh.

Martyr Cao Van Minh, born on June 26, 1987, enlisted in December 2004, rank: Major, position: Armed Team Leader, working at Quang Chieu Border Post. During his studies and work, he held many different positions, but no matter the circumstances, he always completed the assigned tasks excellently. With his achievements during his work, he was awarded the First, Second, and Third Class Medals of Honor by the President and many Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Merit from all levels and sectors.

Awarding the

Colonel Nguyen Van Dong, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command, awarded the "Fatherland's Gratitude" certificate to the family of Martyr Cao Van Minh.

On August 29, 2024, Major Cao Van Minh sacrificed his life while performing his duties at the unit. With his contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, on June 27, 2025, the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam signed Decision 1380/QD-TTg on granting the "Fatherland's Gratitude" certificate to Martyr Cao Van Minh.
