The HAGL goalkeeper, born in 2003, started all 4 matches at the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 tournament, conceding 2 goals. In the match against U23 Indonesia, Trung Kien showed composure, chose good positions and had quick reflexes, saving U23 Vietnam many times.
With good skills and a height of 1m91, the 22-year-old goalkeeper is expected to replace his seniors Dang Van Lam and Nguyen Filip in the Vietnam national team in the future. In fact, he was also promoted to the national team by coach Kim Sang Sik to learn.
In the defense, Pham Ly Duc has a great future.
