VinFast leads the market, selling 11,382 electric cars in June

On July 11, 2025, VinFast announced its business results in the Vietnamese market in June 2025 with sales of 11,382 electric vehicles.

The number of VinFast electric cars sold in June 2025 remained at a stable high level compared to May, helping VinFast continue to maintain its position as the number 1 car manufacturer in the Vietnamese market. The total of 67,569 VinFast cars sold in the first 6 months of the year is also the highest number ever achieved by an automaker in Vietnam during the same period.

Specifically, 3,667 VF3 cars were delivered to customers by VinFast in June 2025, making VF3 the best-selling car model of VinFast in the month. The VF5 was right behind with 3,060 cars delivered. This result made VF3 and VF5 the two best-selling car models in the Vietnamese market after the first 6 months of the year, with a total of 23,083 VF3 cars and 21,812 VF5 cars, respectively.

This is a clear demonstration of the appeal of VinFast smart electric cars in the small car segment to Vietnamese consumers. The reasonable price, optimal performance with 4 seats, and economical usage costs of VF3 and VF5 have brought the opportunity to "upgrade" cars, improving the quality of life for many Vietnamese people.

Ranked third in the list of VinFast's best-selling models for individual customers is the VF6, with 1,245 cars sold in June 2025. Next is the VF7 with 725 cars. In the first 6 months of the year, VinFast sold 8,552 VF6 cars and 3,586 VF7 cars.

Two Green models specializing in service business, Herio Green and Nerio Green, also contributed positively to VinFast's June 2025 business results, with 916 Herio Green cars and 1,415 Nerio Green cars sold to the market.

VF3 became VinFast's best-selling model in the month. Right behind was VF5 with 3,060 cars delivered.

Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang - Deputy General Director of VinFast Global Sales said: “The impressive business results in June 2025 continue to show the response and support of domestic consumers for the 3rd Strong Vietnamese Spirit - For a Green Future program as well as the green transportation trend that VinFast is initiating and leading in Vietnam. We believe that, with the support of the people and the companionship of the business community, in line with the policies of the State, electric vehicles will soon become the main means of transportation in Vietnam, contributing to reducing environmental pollution and bringing a better life to everyone”.

In June 2025, VinFast officially inaugurated its second electric car factory in Vung Ang Economic Zone (Ha Tinh), specializing in producing small cars such as VF3, Minio Green, EC Van and some new car models that will be developed in the future to serve the domestic market and export. Previously, VinFast also held a Conference on Increasing Localization and Developing the Supplier System with the goal of increasing the localization rate of electric cars to more than 80% by 2026.
