At the above time, the Hanoi City Police Command Center received a report of an explosion causing a fire at the adjacent house 08-TT35 Van Phu Urban Area, Ha Dong District.
Upon receiving the information, the City Police Command Information Center urgently mobilized the Ha Dong Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Team, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 4, and the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department to dispatch 4 fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene.
Along with that, the leaders of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, City Police mobilized 2 command vehicles and 1 truck carrying vehicles directly to the scene to direct fire fighting and rescue work.

Upon arriving at the scene, forces promptly deployed reconnaissance, searched for victims and deployed firefighting teams.
By 5:00 p.m., the fire was under control; by 6:00 p.m., the fire was completely extinguished. The forces searched for and handed over the two deceased victims to the medical team.
Through verification at the scene, the adjacent house is 4 stories high, about 70m2 / floor, reinforced concrete structure. The explosion area on the 4th floor contained combustion products in the shape of tubes, 3x20cm in size (suspected to be fireworks for event organization).

The city police have assigned units to protect the scene, investigate the cause of the explosion and fire and handle it according to the law.
