According to the competition format of the VTV Cup 2025, the teams ranked at the bottom of the group stage will not be eliminated immediately or have to compete in the classification match immediately afterwards. The order of the tournament's groups will only determine the quarter-final matches: 1A - 4B; 1B - 4A; 2A - 3B; 2B - 3A.

Accordingly, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will meet the Vietnamese U21 women's volleyball team in the quarterfinals. Although victory is unlikely to escape the hands of Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and her teammates, the competition between the top stars and the next generation of the country's women's volleyball team will certainly be highly anticipated.

Another match that promises to be exciting is the match between the Philippines and Thailand U21. However, with striker Kuttika Kaewpin set to miss the rest of the VTV Cup 2025 due to being urgently called up to the national team for the 2025 FIVB Women's Volleyball National Championship (VNL), the strength of the "Land of the Golden Pagoda" representative will be significantly reduced.

The remaining two matches will be defending champion Korabelka (Russia) vs Australia and Taiwan (China) vs Sichuan (China).

The quarter-finals of VTV Cup 2025 will take place from tomorrow (July 3), the 4 winning teams will enter the semi-finals, the remaining 4 teams will compete in the rankings from 5th to 8th place.
