"Currently, the products have been sent to the authorities for ingredient testing; after the results are available, we will inform the people; at the same time, we will investigate and handle violations if the products contain drugs or other harmful substances. The unit is also coordinating to investigate and clarify the case of students eating strange candy that caused poisoning ," the leader of Lang Son Provincial Police added.

Previously, on the morning of November 30, information spread on social networking sites about candy packages sold in front of school gates in Lang Son City (Lang Son) causing poisoning to some students who ate them, suspected of containing drugs.

Specifically, this Facebook shared: "Hundreds of packages of children's candy containing drugs were seized and sold right at the gate of an elementary school in Lang Son.

Lang Son police have just seized many colorful snack packages like the one in the photo. These packages were sold in front of primary and secondary school gates in Lang Son City for between 3,000 VND and 4,000 VND.

Rapid tests on all of these packages showed positive for drugs. The seller claimed to know nothing about them.
