City leaders presented flowers to congratulate the Congress

On the side of Hue city, there were members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee: Phan Thien Dinh, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the City People's Council, Head of the Team guiding and directing the congress according to Decision No. 2468 of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee; Nguyen Chi Tai, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee.

Duong No Ward was established on the basis of the entire natural area and population size of Phu Duong, Phu Mau and Phu Thanh communes.

During the past term, the Party building work in politics , ideology and ethics was strengthened by Duong No ward. The Party Committee led comprehensively with resolutions, programs, plans... associated with specific assignments, clear people, clear work and completion time; operated according to working regulations, without excuses or doing things on behalf of others.

In terms of socio-economy, the locality has implemented many solutions to promote economic development. The economic structure has shifted towards services - small-scale industry - agriculture . The average growth rate in the period of 2020 - 2025 is 12.47%. Average income per capita reached 74 million VND/person/year. Total social investment capital reached 897 billion VND. The trade and tourism services sector continued to develop strongly. The value of service industries increased from 634.8 billion VND (in 2020) to 1,075.2 billion VND (in 2024).

Launching the Party Executive Committee of Duong No Ward

With the theme "Joining hands, being united, and determined to build Duong No ward in the process of rapid and sustainable development, rich in the cultural identity of Hue city", the 1st Duong No ward Party Congress identified many important goals and tasks for the 2025 - 2030 term.

The Party Committee has determined the viewpoint and development goal to build and develop Duong No ward on the basis of exploiting and effectively promoting its own potentials and advantages. Especially, harmoniously combining the unique and rich cultural and historical heritage of the locality and Hue culture. In which, culture is both the goal, driving force and foundation for development; closely combining economic development with ensuring national defense, security, social security, and protecting the ecological environment; improving the material and spiritual life of the people...

The Party Committee set out 11 targets and 3 key programs and projects, including: Infrastructure development program, tourism service development program associated with preserving traditional industries and introducing new industries, production development program towards linkage and forming sustainable value chains.

In his speech directing the Congress, Mr. Phan Thien Dinh praised and congratulated the efforts and results that the Party Committee and the people of Duong No ward had achieved in the past term. At the same time, he suggested that the Congress focus on discussing the work of Party building, building a clean and strong political system; perfecting and building a team of cadres and civil servants with strong political will, ethics, capacity, and innovative thinking, meeting the new requirements on the capacity of the two-level local government.

In addition to mobilizing and effectively using resources, focusing on investment in construction and synchronous development of infrastructure systems, Mr. Phan Thien Dinh suggested that Duong No ward should pay attention to studying the transformation of the local economic structure, the structure of crops and livestock effectively, in accordance with the natural conditions and development orientation and planning of the ward. In particular, it is necessary to prioritize the effective exploitation of cultural, historical and craft village strengths to promote the service structure in the general economic structure, considering this a key step that needs to be a breakthrough to create momentum for the transformation of the ward's economic structure.

On this occasion, the Congress introduced the Ward Party Executive Committee consisting of 18 members. Mr. Nguyen Long An was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Duong No Ward Party Committee.
